Neurodiversity-Affirming Behaviour Change
A 6-week coach training for coaches and mentors to learn a neurodiversity-affirming coaching practice and behaviour change strategies to better support ADHD, AuDHD and Autistic clients at every stage of change.
Transform the way you support behaviour change for neurodiversity-affirming coaching so you can better understand, support and empower neurodivergent clients.
Deepen your ability to recognise strengths, understand barriers and support behaviour change in ways that honour each client's unique way of being.
Through a neurodiversity-affirming lens, learn how to honour the person in front of you, coach with greater confidence and curiosity, and create conversations that lead to greater self-understanding and sustainable change.
Over six weeks you'll learn how to work with your clients' brains rather than against them, while developing a deeper trust in both the coaching process and your client's timing.
Starts weekly from Weds 8 July 10am-11.30am online. 9hrs of training.
Early bird rate $398+gst.
Full rate from 1 July $450+gst.
Who this is for...
The irony is that many of you may be doing exactly what your clients are doing…
Getting hooked by whether clients take action between sessions.
Trying to force progress.
Pushing clients through the stages when they aren’t ready.
Getting hooked by outcomes.
Attaching to action.
Wondering why things aren’t moving faster.
This programme helps you step back, get curious and learn how to work with the change process rather than against it. What if your client's setback is actually part of the process? You'll understand how motivation, nervous system safety, executive functioning, strengths and identity influence neurodiversity-affirming behaviour change.
And, by tapping into what actually works for your client, you’ll be able to support greater client growth and results... while expanding your own capability and impact as a neurodiversity-affirming coach.
When we change the lens we can change the outcome.
As coaches, most of us have had those clients…
The ones who are self-aware and genuinely want things to be different. The clients who can tell you exactly what they want, exactly why it matters and often exactly what they need to do.
And yet... week after week, they come back either not having taken the action they intended, only completed part of it, or started something completely different.
You think... They're so insightful... They know exactly what they want... So why aren’t they flipping doing it!!!
Many coaches have been taught behaviour change is about connecting clients to their why, strengthening motivation and increasing accountability. Sometimes it is. Sometimes it's a heck of a lot deeper than that.
What if your client isn't lacking motivation at all? What if they're exhausted and overwhelmed? What if they're trying to recover from years of forcing themselves into systems that were never designed for the way their brain works?
What this six-week programme explores…
Together we'll look at behaviour change through a neurodiversity-affirming lens. We’ll explore Behaviour Change Models and what they can look like when we’re working with neurodivergent clients, particularly ADHD, AuDHD and Autistic clients.
You'll learn how to adapt your coaching and mentoring approach throughout the change process so you can better understand the person sitting in front of you and become a more effective coach.
We'll explore the questions we ask, the language we use, the assumptions we bring into the coaching conversation and how these can either support or unintentionally hinder change.

What you'll walk away with...
By the end of this programme you'll have a deeper understanding of a neurodiversity-affirming approach and how to coach through every stage of change, while learning to trust both the coaching process and the client's timing.
You'll leave with new language, more powerful questions and a fresh perspective on strengths, identity, motivation, executive functioning and the many factors that influence behaviour change.
When we understand behaviour differently, we coach differently. And when we coach differently, our clients experience themselves differently too.
